Location
Surrounded by 22 acres of rolling countryside in mid-Cornwall our self-catering accommodation is perfectly situated to explore many of Cornwall's gems. Tregongeeves Farm Cottages are nestled on the outskirts of Polgooth, a village near St Austell on the south coast of Cornwall.
From your holiday cottage it's just 10-minutes walk to the local pub – The Polgooth Inn – with its log fires and family room. Also in Polgooth is a village shop, so you don't have to go far for fresh bread, croissants and basic groceries.
While there are extensive facilities onsite, keen golfers can enjoy a round at the neighbouring St Austell Golf Club and beach lovers can explore the nearby bays of Pentewan, Porthpean, Caerhays and Gorran Haven.
Being conveniently situated for travel to Cornwall's north and south coasts, most of Cornwall's attractions are within easy reach. Popular spots on the doorstep include Mevagissey, Charlestown, Fowey, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project.
How to find us
By Car
Follow the A390 about 1.5 miles past St Austell towards Truro and as you descend a long, sweeping hill, take the first left turning into Tregongeeves Lane (signposted 'golf course'). The holiday cottages are 200 yards on the right.
By Rail
Take a train to St Austell and hop on the No.27 bus towards Truro. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach St Mewan School; we are less than 5 minutes from here and can pick you up on request.
